Frequently Asked Questions

What time should I arrive at the meeting point?

To maximize your experience and use the entire block of your reserved time, we ask that you arrive to the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to your reservation time.  Arriving 15 minutes past your reservation time is considered a late arrival and your reservation will be cancelled. 

 

These 15 minutes are used to:

  • Fill out paperwork
  • Collect any balance pending
  • Go over safety protocols
  • Go over riding instructions
  • Set you up on the water
What if I'm running late?

We understand that there could be situations that may delay your arrival to the meeting point. We allow a 15-minute-grace to keep your reservation, but these 15 minutes will be part of your reservation time.

Per instance, if your reservation was for 1 hour (60 minutes) and you arrived 10 minutes past your reservation time, now you only have 50 minutes left of your reserved time.  

 

These 50 minutes will be used to:

  • Fill out paperwork
  • Collect any balance pending
  • Go over safety protocols
  • Go over riding instructions
  • Set you up on the water
  • Riding

Any arrivals 15 minutes past the reserved time will be considered late and the reservation will be canceled. 

What is the cancelation policy?

In order to get a full refund, the reservation must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to your reservation time.  

 

No shows or late arrivals are not refundable.

How can I modify or cancel my reservation?

You can modify or cancel your reservation online or by contacting our customer service via email (bookings@redonerentals.com).

 

Keep in mind that cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your reservation time to get a full refund. 

 

Modifications should also be made at least 24 hours prior to your reservation time via email.  

Do we provide life jackets?

Yes, we do.  We provide a life jacket for each rider/passenger at no extra cost to you. 

Is there a weight limit?

Yes, there is for jet skis and jet cars for safety reasons.  Maximum weight is 350 pounds (lb) when riding jet skis or jet cars.

How many people are allowed in the Jet Ski or Jet Car?

Maximum of two (2) people are allowed on the jet ski and jet car as long as the weight limit is not exceed.

What measures does Red One Rentals take to ensure cleanliness and safety?

At Red One rental, we prioritize the health and safety of our customers. Our rentals undergo rigorous cleaning and sanitization processes between rentals. Additionally, routine maintenance checks are performed to ensure the mechanical integrity of our fleet.

How much is the security deposit?

To secure your reservation, we require a security deposit of 50% of the total cost at the time of making the reservation. The remaining balance can be paid upon arrival. We accept payment in cash and credit or debit card. 

Are there age restrictions for renting?

All renters must be at least 18-years-old and possess a valid photo ID. 

Can kids ride as a passenger?

Yes, kids 6-years-old or older can ride as a passenger but must be accompanied by an adult driver. 

What documents do I need to get a rental?

You must have a government issued identification.  It can be any of the following:

  • Passport
  • Identification card
  • Driver's license 
Are reservations required?

Yes, reservations are required and must be made online. We don't typically take walk-ins but we do make exceptions if we have an opening right before the upcoming time slot.

Is swimming suit required?

It is not mandatory but recommended. Just beach clothes and barefoot is acceptable.  Please be advised that you might get wet, therefore plan accordingly. 

Will the instructor have to ride with me?

No, the instructor will not ride with you, unless requested in advice when doing your reservation.  

However, you will be with an instructor upon arrival to get safety and use instructions.  Once these are covered, you will be free to ride on your own.
